After leaving Warhol's Factory, Mary Woronov went on to make over ninety films including Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979), Eating Raoul (1982), Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1989) and The New Women (2001). The film she made in 2000 with Joe Dallesandro called Citizens of Perpetual Indulgence remains unfinished with little chance of a release date. Her latest b-movie appearance was in The Devils Reject, directed by Rob Zombie, released in 2005, which is sometimes shown on late night TV.
Woronov has also written five books and was a graduate writing instructor at the Otis College of Art and Design. Her creatively written, semi-fictional account of her Warhol years, Swimming Underground, features photographs by Billy Name.
